Four pillars of family financial planning.

Most families come to me for one of the four below. We usually end up working on two or three of them together, because they interact. Your life insurance affects your estate plan. Your retirement timing affects your insurance need. Your 401k rollover affects your beneficiary list. Done right, the pieces fit.

What working with me actually looks like

The same three-step rhythm, every time.

01

Schedule a free call

Thirty minutes by phone, video, or in person across the Hudson Valley. Peter walks through what's already in place and where you feel exposed.

02

Peter maps the plan

I review the gaps, model real numbers, and walk you through options without jargon. You see what each choice costs and protects.

03

Ongoing reviews

Life changes. Mortgages refi, kids head to college, jobs shift. Peter checks in on a cadence that fits your stage, not a calendar quota.

Common questions

Working together, in plain terms.

Do I need all four services to work with you?

No. Most families come in for one, usually term life or a 401k rollover, and we work outward from there based on what the situation actually needs. I'll only ever recommend the pieces that fit your real plan.

How long does the first consultation take?

Thirty minutes. By phone, video, or in person across the Hudson Valley. No pressure, no obligation, and you leave with a clearer picture whether or not we work together.

What does it cost to work with you ongoing?

It depends on which services you actually use. Insurance commissions are paid by the carrier (the cost is built into your premium either way). Advisory or planning work is structured to fit the engagement, flat fee, asset-based, or hybrid. I walk through the structure before any agreement is signed.

Do you only work with people in your service area?

In-person meetings happen across Putnam County and northern Westchester. Phone and video meetings happen with families anywhere in New York State and neighboring states. The plan-quality is the same either way.

Not sure where to start?

Bring whatever you have. We'll find the right starting point together.

Old policies, a 401k you haven't looked at in years, a vague worry about estate tax. Thirty minutes is enough to map where you are and where to go next.
